FAQs

Q: Do you travel? 
A: Yes! I'm more than happy to travel to anywhere around Tassie for your special day.
(Extra fees will apply, please enquire to find out more).
I have also previously travelled interstate for weddings, so if you're really keen to have me perform at your wedding on the 'mainland', please get in touch to discuss your options. 


Q: Can you learn a special song for us? 
A: Absolutely, I can learn your chosen songs.

There's nothing quite like having a beautiful acoustic rendition of your special song serenading you down the aisle to really add that moving, personalised touch to your ceremony. In my opinion, this is definitely an essential inclusion to have as part of your live music package!

Possible moments you may like me to learn a song for include but are not limited to:
  • Aisle Walk(Processional/Bride's Entry)
  • Signing of the registry/Interlude
  • Recessional(walk back down the aisle at the end of ceremony)
  • First Dance
  • Father Daughter dance
  • Entry to reception
  • Leaving the reception
(Extra costs will apply per song.)
(Usually limited to a maximum of 4 songs, however, if you'd like more, please feel free to ask.)


Q: ​Do we need to provide any equipment? 
A: Not at all. I provide all equipment that I need to make your day the best it can be. 
I will provide all sound and lighting gear, a second battery powered PA for remote locations and a cordless mic for your MC/speeches.
All I need is access to power at my main setup location at the reception and I'm good to go!

Q: Do you have a microphone for us to use for speeches? 
A: Yes! This is included as part of my packages.
For the entire time you've hired my services, I will have a high quality, great sounding cordless microphone and PA for any speeches and your MC during the reception. 
During all other parts of the day that I am there performing, wherever I am located with my roaming PA, my microphone can be used to make necessary announcements if needed. (Such as calling all guests to move to the next location.)


Q: Can we choose songs from your list? 
A: You have the complete freedom to curate the set list for the day as much or as little as you want!
When I'm performing at a wedding, I love to know that the songs I'm playing are all the ones that the newlywed couple absolutley love. So I want you to please feel free to make your song selections from my master song list for me to use throughout the day.

- You can go all out and pick every song you'd like me to include and make a setlist for each portion of the day.
OR 
- You can simply make a master list of all the songs you love, and the ones you don't love so much.
OR
- Alternatively, you can leave the entirety of the song choices up to me.
You can be as hands as you like!


Q: What about when it comes to the dancefloor? 
A: As a soloist, I am consistently performing at weddings getting the dancefloor pumping and going all night!

When it's time to get the party started, I bring a high energy, dynamic sound and performance. With punchy vocals with added vocal harmony effects; powerful and percussive guitar with a full, rich bass emulator; and a driving beat from a stomp box with a high-end subwoofer and PA, and lighting to match; the dancefloor never fails to go off!

You want more, you ask?!

For those that want to go the next level, I can also offer multiple different ensembles to really get the party started at your reception - or for any part of the day you'd like, really!

Options include:
  • Duo - acoustic guitar, bass and vocals
  • Duo - acoustic guitar, drum and vocals(a little mini band!)
  • Band - electric guitar, bass, drums and vocals
If you want to go even bigger, please enquire and we'll see what can be arranged!

Q: What if there's no power at our chosen ceremony location? 
A: No power? No problem! 
I have a high-quality battery powered speaker that I can use for those extra special locations where power is not possible.
I also use this to enable easy and efficient roaming, as guests move from one magical spot to the next: from ceremony, to cocktails, to garden party canapes, to the reception. I'll be keeping the musical vibes flowing no matter how many different picturesque places you choose to use for your day!


Q: Do we need to organise background music when you're not playing? 
A: Not at all. That is all taken care of!

Anytime that I'm not playing live(or someone is using the microphone) I will curate and background music playlist to keep the atmosphere and vibes going. You also have the option of sending me a link to your own Spotify playlist (or two) to use for these moments.
